Couch Potato

I admit it, I am quite the couch potato. Look at the short video below to see the myriad of activities I accomplish while on my favorite couch!

What do you do on your couch? Are you even allowed on your human's precious couch?
Heh heh.

Me and Elmo

So I guess you are all wondering how me and Elmo the feline are making out. He is still very shy and I am still very excited whenever I get to see him - most of the time he hides in the basement. I'm beginning to take it personally! If you watch the video below, maybe you'll see why says Mom....

PS Sorry about the irritating music!

Video Debut

Hi All. Mom is testing out a FLIP camera and used me as her model. I hope you enjoy seeing how I spent my Saturday - playing on Mom's bed and then walking in my beautiful park on Lemon Hill...
To all your crazy foxies who have to walk on leash cos else you'd run away, bolt or get into trouble, notice that I, Axel G Chocholoza, walk OFF leash and am perfectly well behaved!

Free Dog Treat Sample

I'm all about snacks so when Mama Dee found this offer to try Exclusively Dog Cookies, I signed up immediately. Mama Dee is a genius at getting free stuff and finding the best coupons. Every day a new freebie arrives in the mail!
So click here for your free treats! By the way, anyone ever get those Science Diet free snacks that I also publicized. Mine never arrived and its been quite a while - were they yanking our tails in an effort to collect our info while NOT sending the booty!? Never thought much of Science Diet to begin with, now I really don't like them! No one pulls one over on Axel G Chocholoza!

My Vacation in Cape May

Just got home from a glorious 4-day vacation in Cape May, NJ - little town called Townbank. Went with Mom and her friends. Had groovy time on the beach, swam and got very spoilt by everyone. See photos below - click on the top image to get started!

Axel's Lament

Background: Mom's roomate Mama Dee is the greatest, but she is very energetic and into her running - she does half marathons! She takes me for walks during the day now while she studies for her masters. So here is my lament (Note from Mom: Mama Dee emailed me this note at work and I was on the floor laughing!):

Not sure what value these humans see in jogging up hills. . . UP!!! Are they quite mad?
Not sure why I should have to suffer because Mama Dee has to drop pounds. I feel her staring at me when I'm sleeping. Pure jealousy. Not my fault she has homework.
3 pees and a poo. You'd think she'd let me go home after. But noooooo. She still has a 60 second sprint to do.After 40 seconds, I refused to move. I rule these sidewalks!!!
Must find laziness serum to inject into her neck. Will contact Stewie. He always has great ideas. .

Scruffy to Coiffed

Yesterday Mom shlepped me to the groomer. She said I was a filthy mess and maybe a bath would also ease my itchies a bit. I'm still itchy but my hotspots are healing nicely and I am doing a bit better. I haven't had to wear those ridiculous pink mittens for over a week!

So Mom took before and after pics:

Here I am in scruffy mode -notice I am smiling:

Here I am in coiffed mode - I look half comatose:

I don't plan to stay clean very long...looks like rain a-coming! That means muddy walks. Yay!

Speaking of walks, these days I way prefer walking with Mama Dee than Mom. This morning I only agreed to go around the block to piss on all the garbage with Mom. Mama Dee is very fit and takes me on treks and to more interesting locations like Pizza shops and CVS. She also takes no crap from me - if she says "Axel, come!" - I jump. Guess Cesar Milan was right - I do like a strong Alpha leader, and Mama Dee is certainly that. I love her! I follow her around, camp outside her room (I am not allowed to sleep with her 'cos it will put Elmo off from going into her room...if he ever gets the courage to get out the basement!) and the bathroom when she is there. I'm a bit obsessed! Heh heh.

Happy New Year

Tonite we celebrated the new Jewish Year 5770. Mom invited some friends over and we all had a swell time drinking wine, eating raisin challah, brisket and lots of other goodies. I partook too.

Hoping for a healthy (no itchies please), happy and prosperous new year for us and for all of you.
